From 1927, when her brother George's wife, Gladys, became incapable of caring for her 3 young children, Ivy & Harold cared for the 2nd son, Eric D G Price 1923, for 2 years, until, late 1929, brother George, alias Hugo, set up home in Leyton, and with the help of a housekeeper, looked after Eric and his older brother Gordon 1920.
In the 1939 Register she was at 3 Albion Street, Tamworth, Tamworth M.B., Warwickshire, maybe with 2 unknowns, seemingly people born after 1921( 100 year rule) . . Ivy May Gray (nee Price) and her husband Harold Gray had a baby who died.
Meryl asked Chris to find out any information about that baby. But not without more info. Where did thay live immediately after the marriage> There are over 100 Gray babies aged 0 dying each year 1923-1930!!

Harold Gray and Ivy May Gray/Price who lived in Tamworth, Staffordshire. There were Salvationists but not Salvation Army Officers.
1967.Still living at 3 Albion Street, Tamworth. A very long newspaper article on her retired Songster-leader husband, Harold Gray - Colehill Chronicle 6/10/1967. Photo of them both( but Meryl might have a better copy of the same photo?) Harold was an accomplished concertina player until 1963, when he suffered a stroke
