. 1868. Annie Elizabeth Parkes was born 15/12/1868 in Canton, China to Henry Parkes & Anne Wilson - FS & FMP British Armed Forces And Overseas Births And Baptisms 1871-1875?. Her birth was registered only on 27/1/1874, together with those of her elder sister Ellen Eliza Parkes, born 28/12/1867 & of 4 siblings born 1870 -1874, and several children of another missionary Joseph Gibson
The family returned to England 1874-5, where another sibling, James Frederick Parkes, was born. Then back to Canton until 1882, 2 more siblings, Mary H Parkes 1877 & Charles W Parkes 1879, being born (but not registered?- Mary was: WDYTYA had her b.c.) .. On returning her father was working in Oxenhope, Yorks in 1883, when sibling Arthur Ernest Parkes was born.
