1887 & 1888. Fined for not sending William, 12, and Alice (Eleanor?) to school. William had been absent 59 times out of 59: Alice 39 times out of 60. She said that they had been too ill to attend. The Mayor said he would pay the fine inflicted 2 weeks previously if she paid this one- she promised to do her best . A fine of 2s.6d had been inflicted for each child - FMP Newspapers

1903. Maria Dormer, 66, lately living Gawcott Road, Buckingham, but seemingly at 24, Mitre Road, Buckingham on the day of her death, ~ 7/7/1903 dies in a hay field accident. She was on 'out relief'. One of the last inquests held at the Buckingham Nursing home prior to hers, was on a son of hers who died of lockjaw, after an injury to hiis hand. The principal witness, spending a holiday with Maria, was her cousin, Elizabeth Barnett, with whom she had been brought up - see 1841C. death Buckingham Sep 1903. No probate .
