1901. Charles Blundell, 35, died 10/4/1901 and is buried in Section 2, Duke Street, Cemetery, Southport, alongside his son, Charles D Frankland Blundell, 1899-1901 Ormskirk Jun 1901

From the obituary in the Formby Times 30/4/1901, He had been with the Salvation Army 17 years. He had been ill for 18 months: the illness started in his toe, took a limb at a time: he was powerless to lift his hands; and was more helpless than a child ( Motor neurone disease??)
