1832-1836. No baptisms of Harriett 1832, Charles 1834 & James 1836 in Wisborough Green, Sussex to Charles & Lucy .
A Keziah Longhurst is born 1840 Sep Dartford and died 1841 Sep Dartford- she should be in the 1841C . But even this ruse fails to find them in FMP or on Ancestry!!
1841C. Cannot find them on Ancestry or FMP. Maybe in Dartford/ Folkestone But their 4 children are in the Wisborough Green Workhouse: Harriot 9, Charles 7, James 5 & Henry 3 . The Workhouse has ~ 75 children in it but less than 5 adults. Would be interesting to examine their Admissions Book.
1842-1847.No bmd registrations of Hannah 1848, Joseph 1845, Ann 1847 in Folkestone and of Abel 1843 Bromley Kent. No Longhursts with these names
But seemingly the 4 eldest children were let out of the Workhouse by around 1843. Did the family wander as far as Folkestone, before returning to Brighton by 1851?
