1716. Edward Harrison, son of a yeoman, was born in Swinden, Gisburn, Yorkshire
1739 . Edward Harrison married Anne Fell . ( 5xggrandparents) . As a result of this marriage Edward acquired an estate
1743, Edward Harrison became a trustee of Hoton in Craven Congregational Chapel
1744, James Harrison, their 3rd son , was born Swinden ( 4xggrandfather)
1750. Edward Harrison was pastor of Greenacres Chapel Oldham, although he had no academical training .
Also his wife, Anne Harrison, fell off from behind him on his horse, broke a limb and died soon after
Only burial I can find in Gisburn is not until 17/8/1762. Comment on Gisburn Burials page: "nee Anne Fielding. 2nd wife of Edward Harrison (c.1716-1789) of Swinden. The non-conformist preacher. She was sister of Jeremiah Fielding of Hartshead Green [mansion house]".
Thus I suspect Edward married again 1851-1861
1753. Edward Harrison leaves Greenacres and returns to Swinden
1762. He remarries. Edward Harrison marries Isabel Hull in Gisburn Parish Church.
1784. Edward Harrison was too poor to retain his eatate, and sold it
1788.Edward Harrison made his Will, appointing his wife and son Edward as executors. He gave to his son James the sum of £4. .
