Alice May Davies 1886-1944?
This page almost certainly redundant!. Henry's Lady in Wales was apparently an Elsie May Davies But- not so much difference between Alice & Elsie!!
I thought this is 'your woman in Wales' referred to by Granddad Brownlee when Henry Lewis Osmond left his 4th'wife' May Wood Brownlee in 1927, but now Wendy says it was an Elsie May Davies who owned his grave and was the tenant of 1 Acacia Road Rhydefelin

1927. HLO leaves May Wood Brownlee - before the month of May. His productions continue for ~16 months, then there is silence about him in the theatrical world until 1932.
1927/1928. It is known that HLO withdrew his daughter from boarding school and lived with her in a caravan on a farm around Haverford West, running a Fish & Chip shop. Could he have been seeing Alice May Davies on a regular basis from ~1927-1936.
1936. HLO dies Llywnpia , Elsie , not Alice, May Davies was the owner of his grave in Rhydefelin Cemetery . Informant was Agda Tulloh-Hatchett
1939 Register. Cannot find Elsie May Davies or Alice May Davies
1944. An Alice M Davies, 58, dies Pontypridd Dec 1944 - no probate. Thought that she- or Elsie?? is buried in the same graveyard, but different graves- Wendy said Elsie May Davies died 1945- but not on bmd!
Only by buying this d.c could I maybe confirm that Alice May Davies was his woman- and only then if she were still living at 1 Acacia Street, Rhydefelin
