BUT, there are births of Edith Webb 1863, Jane Webb 1866 ,William Webb Sep 1869 & Fanny Webb Jun 1874, all Penkridge. So my opinion is that William never married Elizabeth. Obtaining Fanny Webb's 1874 b.c might provide us with a clue as to her father

His father was Thomas Wilson, Match maker, hers William Stringer, Sawyer. Witnesses were Henry Brown & Maria Fearn, seemingly unrelated - just on Marriages 1837-.. on Ancestry, not on Bmd
