On Saturday June 26th 20 members of our Javea Bridge club ventured outside their normal territory to play in the bi-annual tournament against the Vallees club. We were made most welcome, fed a delightful tea, and ,even better, we actually won, claiming back the honour from the Vallees who had taken it from us last autumn.

At end of play our team retired to Moraira and enjoyed an improvised barbecue with a harvest moon rising over the sea.
